The most important element of this necklace is in the center. Cabochon serifinite, and around it - voluminous tongues of rainbow flame, which are embroidered with cotton threads so that there is a smooth transition of color. They are flaming over the abyss, into which, if you look, you can see the blue-violet-gold patterns on the bottom. The entire center is very visibly raised above the main plane of the necklace (the "bottom" is flush with this plane), it was important for me that there was a lot of air in these openings.
The rest of the necklace is made in shades of gray, with a few dotted accents of red. All this in order to distinguish the center. I did not have any external references. I wanted to convey a complex mood, where the spirit of antiquity and the spirit of modernity, the secular splendor and the mystery of magic would be combined. Which again brings back to the atmosphere of dreams, as the main source of my inspiration.
Necklace won 1st place in the personal contest of Irina Rudneva.
The necklace is stored in a wooden storage box, which was made specially for it.
